Frequently asked questions

School holidays, share paths, and why we're not trying to replace your calendar app.

Questions and answers

Do family & friends need to download an app?

No. Grandma opens her path in Safari or Chrome and sees only the plans she's on. No password, no app store, no account. She can confirm with one tap — or say if she can't make it.

Do family & friends see my whole plan?

No. Each person gets their own path — only the activities they're involved in. You share from People when you're ready; until then, drafts stay on your board only.

What if someone can't make it?

On their path they can tap Can't make it. You'll see it on your board so you can reassign or mark it seen once sorted.

Is this a co-parenting or custody app?

No. We're built for UK households coordinating holidays with people they already trust — grandparents, sitters, childminders. Not court-ordered custody schedules. Amicable two-home families can use separate plans under one bill — see pricing.

How is this different from Cozi or a family calendar?

Calendars show events in a grid. We show who is responsible for which child, flag hours with no one assigned yet, and let each person see their own path. Grandma doesn't need your whole month.

What is a holiday window?

One focused planning period — summer, Easter, or half-term — instead of twelve months of clutter. You plan that break as one view — whether it's a week of half-term or the full summer.

Do family & friends ever pay?

Never. Only the household that plans might pay later — today that's £0. Share paths and confirm taps are never paywalled.

What data do you collect?

Children's first names, schedule plans (times, locations, people on the plan), and contact details you choose to add. We do not sell data. No ads on share paths; the free parent app may show optional ads when paid tiers launch — Plus removes them. See our privacy policy.

Does it work for multiple children?

Yes. Each child gets their own lane so you can see Jack and Maya's Tuesdays side by side — and spot where nobody is assigned.

We're in two homes — do we both pay?

No. One subscription covers both parents' households when Two-home launches (£27/year). Each manages their side; family & friends still never pay.

Is this like OurFamilyWizard?

No — we're a school-holiday cover planner, not a custody or court tool. Different problem, different tone.

Is this a care log or nanny feed app?

No. We plan what's on for the holidays and share paths — we don't do day-of feeds, naps, or care-village timelines.

How do share paths stay private?

Each path uses an unguessable token. The person you share with sees only their plans — their activities and children — not your whole household. Links expire after 30 days unless you rotate them.

When will paid plans launch?

When enough families use it without us chasing them. Right now, planning is on us. After that: Plus (£18/year) or Two-home (£27/year) — family & friends still free. See pricing.
